COLORFUL GeForce RTX 4090 iGame LAB GPU Claims World Record at 3.975GHz

COLORFUL GeForce RTX 4090 iGame LAB GPU Claims World Record at 3.975GHz

We just saw the ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 break a world record, hitting 3.95GHz but now COLORFUL has swooped in for the award with its GeForce RTX 4090 iGame LAB Edition graphics card reaching 3.975GHz. Imagine that type of GPU clock inside of your new Gaming PC.

COLORFUL's custom GeForce RTX 4090 iGame LAB Edition hitting 3.975GHz was just 25MHz short of the full 4.0GHz, using one of the very best cusotm GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards in the world. Professional overclockers like Cens, Splave, OGS, and Rauf have been competing against each other to reach the lofty heights of an RTX 4090 GPU hitting 4.0GHz, and it looks like we're one inch -- or 25MHz -- short of that goal.

The thing is, you and I won't be doing this at home... as the 3.95GHz GPU clock on the ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 and now the 3.975GHz on the COLORFUL GeForce RTX 4090 iGame LAB Edition, were only pushed that high and having stability in the GPUGI benchmark. This isn't a stable 3.95GHz or 3.975GHz in games, but only this benchmark... so we won't be running Crysis on the RTX 4090 at 4.0GHz anytime soon, unfortunately.

1127W is the peak power consumption of the COLORFUL GeForce RTX 4090 iGame LAB Edition graphics card, with Cens pushing 3.975GHz using super-exotic liquid nitrogen cooling (LN2 cooling).
