4K 300FPS+ in Overwatch 2 on our new Patriot Gaming PC

4K 300FPS+ in Overwatch 2 on our new Patriot Gaming PC
May 24, 2023

We don't stop at Allied Gaming, constantly refining what we do, and the components that go into our Ready to Ship Gaming PC configurations... so we can deliver you the very best Gaming PCs money can buy.

The latest configuration in our Ready to Ship Patriot Gaming PC is powered by AMD's brand new Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, featuring second-generation 3D V-Cache, which works out to be the Best Gaming CPU on the planet. We've used the new 7800X3D processor inside of the latest Patriot system, teamed with 32GB of DDR5-5200 RGB memory and NVIDIA's wicked-fast GeForce RTX 4080 with 16GB of GDDR6X memory. We have this Gaming PC priced at $4699, available and Ready to Ship TODAY!

As the Chief Gaming Officer of Allied, I want to personally put this system through its paces... and man, what a beast Gaming PC it is.

Ready to Ship Patriot Gaming PC specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (8 cores, 16 threads)
  • Cooler: Allied Sidewinder air cooler (prototype)
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5-5200 RGB memory
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB
  • SSD: 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD
  • Case: Allied Patriot 6-Fan RGB Gaming PC case

We're actually also testing out our prototype Allied Sidewinder air cooler, which keeps the world's best Gaming CPU nice and chill. We're talking 65-70C under gaming loads, which compared to the best CPU from Intel in the form of the Core i9-13900KF, it's downright ludicrously cool in comparison. The Core i9-13900KF can run at up to 90-100C very easily, no matter how good the cooling is on it. AMD's new Ryzen 7 7800X3D on the other hand? Air-cooled by our Sidewinder = no worries.

I've been playing Dead Island 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, and Overwatch 2 on it -- so far, at least -- with some truly stunning results. Teaming the world's best CPU for gaming as well as the second-fastest GPU on the planet = console-killing performance from this Gaming PC, and some.

Overwatch 2 was loaded up onto the system, set to the 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) with NVIDIA Boost + Reflex enabled, and the FPS set to scale up to its maximum limit of 600FPS. All of the in-game detail settings were maxed out, with FSR disabled (no AI-based upscaling) and then a round of Overwatch 2 was played... with a beautifully smooth 300FPS+ at 4K.

The game actually sat above 300FPS for the most part, in the 350-380FPS average area but did have dips into the 280-290FPS at times. Utterly smooth, especially for a twitchy-style shooter like Overwatch 2.
