SHODAN has approved the release date of the System Shock Remake, a remake of the cult classic System Shock from 1994... with the release of System Shock Remake dropping on May 31 📆
The release of the System Shock Remake was meant to happen by the end of March, but it seems that SHODAN has stopped the developer from releasing it... as we all know how powerful the all-seeing SHODAN is. But seriously, the developer -- Nightdive Studios -- needed some more time on the game, and we're not complaining... take your time, team 👌
System Shock was one of the best games of the 90s but it's coming back in remake form combining the cult gameplay of the iconic original game, but with all-new visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, all-new sounds and music, and more.
We've got never-before-seen enemies and massive quality-of-life upgrades to gameplay, as well as a revamped hacking system and visceral new combat options... something that the System Shock Remake will give you a BRUTAL dismemberment system, the new System Shock Remake welcomes players new and old back to the haunting stomping grounds of Citadel Station, and into the arms of the delightfully villainous SHODAN.
