Dead Island 2 - Extended Gameplay Reveal! Welcome... to HELL-A 🌅 🪓🧟
If you can believe it, the original Dead Island was released in 2011... so it's been 12 years of waiting for its sequel -- Dead Island 2 -- and now we have an Extended Gameplay Trailer to share with you. It's gruesome, gory, and visually amazing... and we can't wait to get our grubby hands on it. There are plenty of zombie-themed games out right now and in the pipeline, with the remake of Resident Evil 4 launching on the PC on March 23... The Last Of Us - Part 1 hitting the PC on March 28... you'll have roughly a month until Dead Island 2 is here.
Dead Island 2 is being developed by Deep Silver Dambuster Studios, with two trailers teased during Gamescom 2022 last year setting excitement levels for fans through the roof. We had cinematic trailers, but the new 14-minute extended gameplay trailer really sets the bar even higher.
The game looks utterly gorgeous and has an amazing level of destruction on the zombies... we're talking slicing, smashing, burning, ripping, and even more in Dead Island 2. You can slay zombies in any which way you desire, it's truly an over-the-top zombie-slaying adventure.
In the Dead Island 2 - Extended Gameplay Reveal, you'll follow slayer Dani as she explores the undead streets of Beverly Hills and Bel-Air, where you'll get to scope out the VERY lethal weapons, tactical combat, brand-new skills system, and revolutionary FLESH dismemberment system. The new FLESH dismemberment system -- along with those gorgeous visuals -- are my favourite parts of Dead Island 2 so far. I can't wait to dismember zombies like a boss in just over a month's time.
We don't have much longer to wait for Dead Island 2, as it drops onto the PC on April 21.
